Musical project by composer and multi-instrumentalist Guillaume Cazenave, The Odd Gallant has been exploring varied soundscapes and daring concepts since 2015. His new album, Cyclic, is to date his most demanding proposition: a dense and experimental progressive metal, the fruit of several years of production. The musical output of The Odd Gallant is part of a broader artistic matrix. Guillaume shapes his music by fueling it with his sensitivity for imagery and narrative, as he is also a graphic designer, video editor, and novelist (author among others of the fantasy series MA, whose making-of he details in his podcast Le PodMast). Alongside the other artists on the Orfeo'Lab label, he shares the need to express himself with maximum freedom.
